These effects include lump-mapping, reflection and refraction, light and shadow maps and projections, specular effects and Fresnel, emissive and iridescent materials, sophisticated alpha mix, gloss and detail mapping, motion blur, interactive water with complex surface effects, and animated textures. , among others. The Quantum3 engine also includes sophisticated artificial intelligence, allowing for NPCs and enemies in the game using machines to have "human-like behavior."
