Album information
Like its predecessor Dragon Ball Z & amp; Z 2 Original Soundtrack This album contains collaborations of American and Japanese artists. American credits include Steve Lukather guitarist of the 80s Toto rock band and 70's R & B Soul Funk band Tower of Power, but despite this the album credit remains exclusively Japanese. The opening theme "Ore wa Tokoton Tomaranai" was performed by Hironobu Kageyama. As the title suggests this release remains focused on the tracks heard on Budokai 3 , unlike its predecessor focusing on the first two games on a single disc. As a result, the soundtrack list seems to contain a more complete selection. However, many of the compositions that are displayed throughout the trilogy of story modes but abandoned from earlier soundtracks are still being ignored, prompting many disappointed fans to copy copies of the tracks directly from the game itself.
Ironically, much of this and some pieces of the previous soundtrack were used for the North American release of Budokai Tenkaichi because at that time the game release was not Funimation or Atari had earned the right to composition by anime composer Shunsuke Kikuchi used in the game that. The cuts used seem to have ripped straight from this album because the instrumentation did not spin as it did in the game Budokai . Like the previous soundtrack Z & amp; Z 2 , the back of the album jewelry box displays a list of songs both in Japanese and English. However, some English names are not all direct translations, but the names of different songs are given songs when the game is released as Budokai 3 (see below). Also like the previous soundtrack with the opening song Budokai 2 "Kusuburu Heart ni Hi o Tsukero !!", the theme song Budokai 3 "Ore wa Tokoton Tomaranai !!" only presented in this collection of TV-size versions as heard at the beginning of the game. Fortunately the full version of both songs, performed by Hironobu Kageyama, was released combined in one disc between two soundtrack releases.

Reception
After the release of the game, music received mixed criticism from game critics. Although it will receive a high score like 8 on GameZone, many critics still call music as repetitive and clichéd. However it is appropriate to convey the game atmosphere. Luke Van Leuveren of Palgn stated " his voice is generic but highly addictive ". However, Jeremy Dunham from IGN thought the music sounded great and Tony "Zing" Tomas from WHAM! Game calls it top notch.
