The Brickverse: Theme Guide: Lego Minifigures, Series 12
src: 3.bp.blogspot.com

This page is about the 2010 Lego theme-now. For the Lego toys, the people themselves see Lego minifigure.

Minifigures is a Lego 2010 theme based on a collection of Lego minivitas that can be billed. Each image is an original character with new clothing and facial design, and most contain accessories that were not previously seen. Each series usually contains 16 different minifigures, but some series contain at least 9 minifigures, while others contain up to 20.

Detail

This series consists of a number of individually collectible Lego minifigures that are themed based on movies, sports, history, and popular culture. The numbers are sold separately in packets that are sealed and unmarked, giving customers a random chance of getting a certain statue. Although considered a new approach by some, this has caused controversy among fans and collectors, increasing the amount of difficulty in obtaining the complete collection. Purchases from many retailers do not guarantee the contents of certain packages. Despite efforts to obscure the contents of these packages, Series 1 and 2 bags have a second figurine-specific bar code on the back of the packaging, next to the EAN/UPC product bar code (unique for each series). This has allowed customers to identify individual numbers in packaging, significantly reducing the amount of money and effort required to get the complete collection, and eliminating the possibility of accidentally receiving duplicates. There are also apps for iPhone and Android devices that take advantage of this barcode.

Lego has removed the special figurin bar codes on all 3 and 4 Series packages and replaced them with braille systems like dots that arise in the bottom seal of the bag. In theory, this will allow customers to continue to identify the embedded figure in it. Then the series has no sign to indicate its contents.

The average new series has been released every four months. The release dates sometimes vary between countries.

LEGO Minifigures Online

On August 29, 2013, Funcom officially announced a massive multiplayer online game based on the Minifigures theme, in which there are several world players can travel to and against enemies, as well as basement based settings. The game uses traditional click-to-move mechanics, allowing younger users to jump into action. However, for advanced users, there is a special ability that is enabled using the number keys. It will be free-to-play, but you can unlock Minifigures by buying one and entering the code, but they can also be obtained in-game. This album was released in late 2014 for iOS, Android and PC as a download or browser client on the LEGO website.

Funcom announced that LEGO Minifigures Online will be closed on September 30, 2016. Starting June 6, 2016, new players will not be able to join the game and in-game chat will be disabled. Existing players will still be able to play until September 30, 2016.
