Toyline

ATOM. line of toys is a replacement line of action figures from the Action Man franchise owned by Hasbro. In stark contrast to the other variations of the Action Man storyline, the A.T.O.M selling point is that the numbers are the standard size of the normal action figure and not the puppet format. Just like the Action Man, these numbers are sold separately, usually with accessory figures, from vehicles that are distributed to accompany them.

Franchise has a very similar concept to M.A.S.K. the 1980s. the story line from Kenner (bought by Hasbro in 1991), even down to the code name letters, as every vehicle for ATOM members changed from a regular-looking field vehicle into anything that ranged from a jet car with the wings of an unopened door, a bicycle that immediately pushes the driver into the air as a helicopter.

In 2007, Hasbro released a 12-inch version of A.T.O.M action action, similar to the original Action Man action figure. The toy series consists mostly of versions of Axel Manning, the main characters, and Paine, Flesh and Tilian as villains. A plane, a sports car and several small vehicles were included in the A.T.O. toy. After 2007, the numbers A.T.O.M return to their custom size.
