The Ninth Season RuPaul's Drag Race began airing on March 24, 2017, at VH1. Back judges included RuPaul and Michelle Visage, along with Ross Mathews and Carson Kressley. Fourteen drag queens (including one who returned) competed for the title of "America's Next Drag Superstar". The prize for the winner is a one-year supply of Anastasia Beverly Hills cosmetics, cash prizes of $ 100,000, and the crowns and sticks provided by Shandar. The full list of contestants was revealed on 2 February 2017. This season saw the return of season eight contestants Cynthia Lee Fontaine, who finished the competition in 10th place.
The ninth season winner of Drag Race RuPaul is Sasha Velor, with Peppermint being runner-up.
Aja competed in the third season of All Stars and finished 7th overall.
Eureka O'Hara is currently competing in the tenth season of RuPaul's Drag Race.
