Weebly ( ) is a platform for integrated e-commerce, websites and marketing for creative entrepreneurs and small business owners. The company is headquartered in San Francisco and currently has over 50 million subscribers worldwide. Weebly was founded by Chief Executive Officer David Rusenko, Chief Technology Officer Chris Fanini, and former Chief Product Officer of Dan Veltri.

History
David Rusenko, Chris Fanini and Dan Veltri co-founded Weebly in 2006. Rusenko and Fanini both attended College of Science and Technology at Pennsylvania State University (Penn State) while Veltri attended the Smeal College of Business university. The three founders were all 22 year old students at Penn State when they founded the company. At that time, Penn State required all students to maintain an Internet portfolio, so they built this idea and created software that made it easy for anyone to build a personal website.
Weebly's formal development began in January 2006 and the beta invitational release was announced in June 2006; Private-beta was officially launched in September 2006.
In January 2007, Weebly was selected for the Y Combinator's winter startup program in Silicon Valley, California. This option symbolizes when Rusenko, Veltri, and Fanini start working at Weebly on a full-time basis.

David Rusenko, CEO and founder of Weebly, earned a place on the Forbes list ' 2011 "30 Under 30".
Sensor
In December 2014, the Indian government blocked Weebly in India, due to concerns that ISIS propaganda was spreading through the site. As of December 31, the site was again available throughout India.
