Master Roshi , usually called in original Japanese as Turtle Hermit ( ??? , Kame-Sen'nin ) and also known as Muten-R? shi ( ???? , turns on. "Master Unbeatable" ) , is a fictional character from the Dragon Ball series created by Akira Toriyama. She is called the Hermit Turtle because of the heavy turtle shell that she and her students will wear on their backs for weight training, Master Roshi is an ancient and wise martial arts teacher, as well as an innovator of the kamehameha technique. His students include Grandpa Gohan, The Ox-King, Son Goku, Krillin, Yamcha, and others.

Roshi's master was bald, with a thick vanity beard and wearing sunglasses, which she hardly ever saw. He wears beach clothes or martial arts, uses a cane, and during the early stages of the series, the turtle shell is on his back. Not simple but shrewd, and physically weak at first sight, Master Roshi is described as a mighty warrior who constantly opposes expectations despite his advanced age. He is considered a stock character, as he is an old martial arts master and a source of comic relief whose perverted behavior is typical of the old grandfather's old archetypes in sh? Nen manga . Roshi is known for her lewd acts throughout the series and constantly glaring at the young women on the television exercise show in her spare time or looking at porn magazines. He even bribes young teen Bulma to show him panties in exchange for Dragon Ball at the start of the series. On the other hand, Master Roshi will be described as a very wise and loving person during the more serious moments in the series, who love her life and simple pleasures, but wishes to make the greatest sacrifices for her friends and students if necessary, such as when he risked his health and pushed his physical limit to perform the Mafuba ( Evil Containment Wave technique in the English nickname) against various opponents that could not be dispatched in the conventional way.

Dragon Ball

Roshi's first appearance was in the # 1 drama/manga Dragon Ball manga, although her first major role was in # 3. Roshi lives with her old friend, the anthropomorphic turtle called Umigame (??? , "Turtle"), on an island with a house built on it known as "Kame House"; here, he will train his disciples. Kame House will eventually serve as a gathering place for Goku and his colleagues, as well as home to certain recurring characters such as Oolong or Krillin and his young family. When wanting to act anonymously, Roshi would consider disguise and call herself Jackie Chun, a reference to real life actor Jackie Chan.

Master Roshi then demonstrated the ability to increase her energy and reach her final stage. Under these circumstances, his appearance changed dramatically, with a massive increase in muscle mass and also a height similar to that of Piccolo. Because of its natural precision in combat, this great state does not seem to affect its speed and agility. Under these circumstances, he can do a lot of ki attacks on their maximum potential, which is most felt as an enhanced version of his Kamehameha attack.

At the start of the Dragon Ball series, he is considered the strongest mortal fighter in the Dragon Ball universe, but his power level begins to pale in comparison to Goku and his allies later in the series. While his legacy is shown in the productive use of Kamehameha's Kamehameha by many characters in the series, his superiority has been greatly reduced by the time Goku reaches adulthood. He will only appear occasionally as a supporting character and no longer operate as an active fighter.

Graduates from Roshi training (ie Goku, Krillin, Yamcha) often wear kanji for "Turtle" ("Kame")? in their dogi .

In the Toriyama movie and Dragon Ball Super

Master Roshi will again become famous as the main character with the revival of Dragon Ball Series in 2010 this year. In the Dragon Ball Z movie: Awakening 'F' and his opponent's story arc in Dragon Ball Super, Master Roshi will join Goku and his friends in their fight against the resurrected Frieza and his troops as they invade Earth for take revenge against Goku. It is also implied in one episode that Grass of Heaven is the source of Master Roshi's longevity, as he claims that eating some of it will enable him to live for another 1,000 years.

In the Dragon Ball Super Magic, Master Roshi was recruited as a member of Team Universe 7, after Goku was forced to fight him when he was manipulated through magic by Tienshinhan mischievous pupil. It was later revealed that Master Roshi had been secretly trained; Goku is shocked and impressed by how well his former teacher stays in battle. Master Roshi will continue and eliminate up to four competitors from another universe during the tournament, before she is forced to eliminate herself after a fight with Frost Universe 6 where she is brought to the brink of death due to excessive use of Mafuba techniques.
