" Demons " is a song from American rock band, Imagine Dragons. It was written by Imagine Dragons and Alex da Kid, and produced by Alex da Kid. The song appeared on their major major-label debut which extended the Play Advanced Silence and also made an appearance on their debut studio album Night Ofions as the fourth song. "Demons" was asked for an American triple-A radio station on January 28, 2013 and for the modern rock station on April 1st and serves as the fifth overall album and was released as the third single of Night Visions in the United States, and then released to a contemporary hit radio station on September 17, 2013 as the official single. The lyrics depict the protagonist who warns the other side of his shortcomings.
The song was commercially successful, becoming their second top single after "Radioactive". It spends twelve weeks in the top ten on Billboard Hot 100, four of which are spent at number six. This is Imagine Dragons' second song to last more than a year on Hot 100 (61 weeks). Within two years of its release, more than 4.1 million copies were sold in the United States, making it the eighth most-downloaded song in rock history. It has also been a moderate commercial success worldwide, charting in several countries. The song won the MuchMusic Video Award for International Video of the Year - Group (2014) and iHeartRadio Music Award for Alternative Rock Song of the Year (2014).

An MTV report on the music video "Satan" states that "will match the artful imagery of the 'It's Time' and the 'Radioactive' stuffing fight that's really out there." Released on May 7, 2013 and filming in Las Vegas, Nevada on a band performance on The Joint on February 9, 2013, this video features a mix of live band recording and companion narration. Various characters with personal difficulties are described, including a grieving daughter, a man with Marfan syndrome who looks at himself in the mirror, abused parents and military veterans. The imposed meaning is that most do not see beyond the face that everyone is wearing to the public. The clip ends with a dedication to Tyler Robinson (1995-2013), a band fan who died at the age of 17 March 2013 after a battle with cancer.

The Latvian-born Latvian singer, Masha, covers "Demons" on her YouTube channel. The official website of Ryan Seacrest describes the cover as a "soulful ballad by replacing the heavy beats of the studio version with a soft sound, a resonating sound from the piano - featuring strong vocals and really capturing the powerful meaning behind the faint lyrics."
In March 2016, Chris Daughtry and Jencarlos Canela performed cover songs during Fox's special television The Passion. It is sung in the story in which Judas Iscariot (Daughtry) betrays Jesus (Jencarlos) and gives his reasons, and Jesus seems sympathetic to Judas; the lyrics are transformed into alternatives between the first person's tenses and the second person as they sing.
