Lions Drag Strip is a US raceway in the district of Wilmington, Los Angeles, California, adjacent to the existing Long Beach from 1955 to 1972. The line is named after its sponsor Lions Clubs International and features many races approved by the American Hot Rod Association (AHRA).

As the area around the trajectory increases in the population, complaints about noise are made for government officials. Furthermore, efforts are made to refuse operators to continue using the facility. The track opens with 30 notice clauses that can be enforced at any time and on 2 November 1972 the notice is given. After the last race of December 2, 1972, the track was demolished through the efforts of the Port Department of Los Angeles to provide space for overseas cargo shipments shipments to date at 223rd Street & Alameda Road in Wilmington, CA.

The location of the abandoned trajectory remained for more than 10 years until it was developed into a mega container facility by the L.A. Commission Harbor. The 1971/72 noise issue was seen as a political trick to close tracks by many local fans, although this can not be proven. This same scenario has been repeated across the country as residential areas thrive around older racing facilities
